Alive named a new executive
Alive Risk recently announced the appointment of Richard Rotkin as Director of Relations and Marketing. Alive Risk, which pledges leisure, sports and entertainment, is a managing IPO of Ryan Specialty.
According to a press release announcing his appointment, in his new role, Rotkin will be responsible for ensuring “the implementation of product marketing strategies” and “maintaining relationships with carriers, retailers, and wholesalers.”
Rutkin joins the Alive Risk team with more than 30 years of related experience, primarily in the property, casualty and emergency specialization areas. He owned and operated his own wholesale brokerage firm for 25 years, with a focus on serving the leisure and sports industries.

Homelink names Kim Radcliffe in a new role

Homelink has named Kim Radcliffe, MHA, PT, as the newest member of its senior leadership team, as she has been named Senior Vice President, Clinical Strategies and Products.
Radcliffe’s work in the workers’ compensation industry spans 16 years, which includes a background in physical therapy. In addition, Radcliffe’s work includes serving in various leadership roles, which include clinical product development, network development, and operations.

QBE North America promotes Michael Foley

QBE North America recently announced the promotion of Michael Foley to the position of President, Commercial Insurance. He most recently served in QBE’s Commercial Loss Business as Chief Underwriting Officer.
In his new role, an industry veteran, Foley will become a member of the Executive Board of QBE North America. In addition, Foley will be responsible for “planning, directing, and implementing the vision of the business lines,” per a press release.
Foley will also manage the development of the department’s strategy as well as grow strong business partner and client relationships.
“We are excited to have Mike take on this new role,” said Todd Jones, CEO of QBE North America. “With decades of experience in the commercial insurance market, he has proven his ability as a leader in building high-performance teams, delivering solutions to clients, and creating a quality book of business.”
Mosaic announces its accession to the Board of Directors
Mosaic Insurance recently announced that it has appointed Jennifer Chu to its board of directors.

Zhu is currently working in Golden Gate Capital as a manager. In addition, she is a member of the Financial Services team at Golden Gate Capital, which works to cover investments in various niche markets. These include insurance, asset and wealth management, and financial technology.
“I am delighted to formally welcome Jenn to the Board of Directors, especially as we celebrate International Women’s Day today,” Mosaic Chair Caroline Folger said on the day of the announcement.
“Jane has been a regular member of the Board of Directors since Mosaic’s inception, and her formal appointment is a reflection of her valuable contributions over the past two years.”

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has appointed Tracy Ryan as President, North America Regions & Markets.
Ryan previously served as a Board Member and Head of Global Risk Solutions, North America, for Liberty Mutual Insurance Group. She brings nearly 30 years of industry and leadership experience in her new role with AGCS.
Ryan succeeds William (Bill) Scaldafieri who spent the last 23 years with Allianz.
